Zayn is Bradford 2025’s Ambassador

It was announced today that Zayn will be Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture’s Ambassador.

He will be taking part in citywide activations and special projects that will celebrate all that the area has to offer, focusing on the rich diversity, culture, and youth of the city. Activations and projects will be announced later in the year.

Zain Javadd Malik was born and raised in Bradford, England, UK. Growing up, he found a love for art and music, auditioning for and starring in his school production of Grease, among others, and soon after was encouraged to audition for X-Factor. After being thrust into the spotlight with four others, calling themselves One Direction, the five young men took the world by storm. By early 2015, Zayn made the decision to leave the band and pursue his own solo career, leading with the single "PILLOWTALK" in 2016... continue to learn more about Mr. Malik.
